Getting off the couch and getting fit!

About Me

I’ve been active in the fitness industry for over 20 years. I love teaching classes, giving advice and helping people achieve their fitness goals. And, hopefully along the way, making someone feel better about themselves. I have worked in several mainstream gyms and leisure centres, and I have been a qualified personal trainer (PT) for many years, having completed my PT course at Loughborough.

A couple of weird facts… I used to be a building surveyor (with a hard hat and steel toe-capped boots) and I have a degree in performing arts! One thing I have always done, even when working as a building surveyor, is use fitness to keep myself strong, fit and to help de-stress!

A few facts about my fitness experience..

I’m qualified to teach a range of classes, including aerobics, step, aquarobics, LBT, boxercise, conditioning, core stability and spin (cycle), to name a few.

I have been a PT for many years and trained people of all ages and genders, some who have played specific sports and looked to improve, and others who have just wanted a gentle push to improve their all round fitness, to lose weight and tone-up.

I’m a member of CIMPSA (professional fitness association).
